I could really use one of these prints to put right next to my bed so it’s the first thing I see when I wake up.
I have some very exciting news to share folks. You are currently reading a post written by the new Assistant Manager of the Lululemon Showroom in Portland Maine!!! I could not be more excited to be working for such a great company, within such a dedicated fitness community, and with such fabulous people. I have already been singing the praises of the Lululemon product for years and now I get to actually work for the company. How amazingly awesome is that!
I know some of you will be interested in what I’m wearing to my first day of work on the showroom floor, so here it is, the inaugural outfit:

By this point all you lovely readers should be well aware of my obsession with JoJo Loves You. I currently own more pairs of Bling earrings than I should admit, three amazing statement necklaces and I’ve gifted tons of her jewels to my friends and family. Just this morning I woke up to an email from JoJo letting me know what her Valentine’s Day favorites are and offering up free shipping this weekend only. I’ve put together a list of my favorites for the holiday shoppers that are reading this post. For all you men reading this out there (because I can only imagine there are TONS of you) take note of all the pretty at your fingertips.

Yes ladies and gentlemen I am watching The Bachelor. I managed to go years and years proudly announcing that I had never watched the show and last season I got sucked in and now I’m a full fledged addict of the show. However I did stop short of watching The Bachelor Pad so for the moment I can feel less than completely embarrassed of my TV watching habits. Feel free to begin judging me now. I have already spent way to much time and brain power thinking about, and talking about, who I think Ben will end up with (Kacie B of course) and an equally ridiculous amount of time complaining about how awful Courtney has been… can we say intentional acting on her part to get famous and very specific editing to keep the show interesting.
I won’t waste any more of my precious readers time discussing my views on this salacious brain rotting entertainment, but I will share some photos of the amazing interiors (well done Patricia Urquiola) to the W Hotel Retreat & Sap Vieques Island, the location of this weeks episode. Stunning! As Liz Lemon would say, “I want to go to there”.
If you loved the style of The W and you would like to interpret some of theme into a room, or two, of your home I’ve compiled a selection of items below that I believe pick up on the flavor of the design. Beware, some of these items are very affordable and some are a bit ridiculous, but I can guarantee that they are all lovely.
Morosso: Tropicalia by Particia Urquiola
Hive Modern: Arne Jacobson Swan Sofa
Crate and Barrel: Ginger Blue Side Table
Hive Modern: Lipstick Lounge Chair
Angela Adams: Ocean Hand-Tufted Wool Rug
CB2: Q White Pillow
Pillows and Throws: FJS Pillow Ikat
West Elm: Small Wire Pendant
Crate and Barrel: Driftwood Mirror
Jonathan Adler: Jere Raindrops Scultpture
West Elm: Organic Cotton Pintuck Duvet and Shams
As many of you know my favorite Hallmark Holiday is right around the corner. I personally love nothing more than thinking about, selecting, and giving presents. It gives me such joy to surprise someone with just the right gift. It doesn’t matter to me if it was a gift that they really wanted or if it was a gift tht they didn’t even know they needed until you surprised them. I tend to write quite a few posts about things I LOVE or find soooo pretty. I’m guessing that it may make it a bit hard to decipher what I really hope to one day own and things I just like to admire from afar. So for those of you in my life that could possibly be in the mindset that they want to shop for me… here’s a list of those things I am currently, in all seriousness, pining for.
A new piece of art to adorn our bedroom walls: Cocoa and Hearts Colors 25 Small Print
New Wallet: Kate Spade Continental Wallet In Bright Yellow
I’ve had my current wallet for years and I’m just plain getting a bit bored with it. I would love to come across something with a serious pop of color when I open up my purse. Especially in the dead of winter.
A new addition to my statement necklace collection: Bubbles By Kim Dulaney
(this is the gift I have all my fingers and toes crossed for)
A new pair of Nike Free running shoes (I’m a 7.5 just in case someone wanted to surprise me)
If you know me you might be thinking, don’t you already have three pairs of running shoes? The answer to that question is yet. However in my defense I’m both someone that’s on my feet a lot and someone that likes to run a lot… okay and I’m also someone who loves variety and the color pink. Aren’t these just so cute!
A bit of help getting started on the bedding for the Guest Room: Navy and White Hotel Bedding from Lands End
For those folks in your life that love pretty things and loooove chocolate… and I’m sure that the people in my life closest to me will know that I’m talking about myself…I consider it a good day when it ends with a piece of rich dark chocolate. I don’t need anything in the chocolate, except maybe sea salt, but I also wouldn’t turn away chocolate that has either mint or caramel… I’m not crazy!
Chocolate Editions Valentine’s Day Bars
How cute are these?!? And they have a blog about candy, score!
Zach, also known as the hubby, has been talking a lot about getting a water filter system for the house. He has felt lately, especially in this dry winter weather, that he hasn’t been drinking nearly enough water to keep feeling hydrated and healthy. We are both now working at home so the days of endless filter water are long gone. I’ve happily transitioned to tap water but Zach feels that it would be nice to have something closer to his upstairs office that will have a bit more filtration. Today I found the perfect solution. It’s gorgeous and provides high quality filtered water. Sadly it is way out of our budget but a girl can dream, right?
