A Water Filter Worth Looking At

January 26, 2012

Zach, also known as the hubby, has been talking a lot about getting a water filter system for the house.  He has felt lately, especially in this dry winter weather, that he hasn’t been drinking nearly enough water to keep feeling hydrated and healthy.  We are both now working at home so the days of endless filter water are long gone.  I’ve happily transitioned to tap water but Zach feels that it would be nice to have something closer to his upstairs office that will have a bit more filtration.  Today I found the perfect solution.  It’s gorgeous and provides high quality filtered water.  Sadly it is way out of our budget but a girl can dream, right?

Anthropologie: Ovopour Water Filtration System

Here’s a little further description courtesy of Anthropologie:

By using an offset filtration system and taking advantage of the thermal properties of porcelain, this sleek, egg-shaped vessel provides fresh drinking water and unparalleled style in equal measure. Water flows freely from the chamber, preventing stagnation, reducing bacteria build-up and revitalizing the water, while the reusable aquacristal filter utilizes materials like activated carbon, quartz crystal and microporous bioceramics proven to remove chemicals and organic pollutants.
