I love brightly colored furniture and I love anything that even remotely resembles lacquer. I saw this new piece from CB2 and I have just the right spot in my bedroom for it. Instead of sheep tonight I plan to count my eventual latitude grellow low dresser.

Hello out there Find the Pretty readers… if there are any of you left! I’m so so sorry for my absence. I don’t have a great reason for being gone so long, mainly a lot of small and large life happenings that took me away from my blogging. On the small side quite a few work deadlines, a massive amount of reading and then a vacation to San Fransisco and to Florida to visit family. On the larger side I’ve been spending a fair amount of time with some of my closest girlfriends (sometimes you just need some girl time!), and Zach and I adopted a cat. His name is Charlie and he is adorable! I’m sure he will generate quite a few posts in the near future.
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. Its main purpose is to let you faithful readers know that I am still here and planning to start writing more, and to leave you with a book recommendation from the momentous amount of reading I’ve done over the past few months.
If you have ever been a fan of Julia Child, or saw the movie Julie & Julia then you must run out and buy/or hop on Amazon and purchase “As Always, Julia: The letters of Julia Child & Avis Devoto”. I have not been able to put it down. I love having a glimpse into the lives of these amazing women. It makes me yearn for the days of written letters and, even more so, it makes me so thankful for my close girlfriends, without them my life would never be as full of love and happiness as it is today. Thank you ladies!
