The Office Stylist Feature

August 24, 2010

I’m very proud to say that one of the projects I worked on, in my life as a Designer at TRO Jung Brannen, was featured on The Office Stylist.  I’m a huge fan and avid reader of The Office Stylist and I was thrilled that she wanted to feature our headquarters.  The project turned out beautifully and it was such a treat to be a part of the team that created the new offices that I get to work in every day.  So head on over and take a look at the article.

Erin you did such a great job! I love the lines and colors, as well as the furniture selections! It all flows really nicely and has a great statement about it! I would love to work in that office, lucky you to design and spend time in your own space!

It used to be that office interiors were all about wood paneling and expensive antique furniture. Commercial interior design has come along way. Ergonomics, the use of color and non-traditional materials have allowed the modern office to simultaneously increase functionality (productivity) while subtly making a statement about the firm conducting business in the space. The interior design of TRO/Jung Brannen’s new offices have accomplished this objective beautifully.

I’m so glad you posted work pictures. I love your office space. The colors are really calming. I like how the article describes the white walls w/ some color to stimulate a creative environment. I could feel that vibe the day I went to visit w/ you, but i could also feel it in the pictures. You have incredible talent.

You should be so PROUD!! Over the years, working with folks on vacation, I have found that there many people who really dread going to work each day and few who enthusiastically look forward to it. Design plays a much larger part in that than we might assume. (Of course, poor management and associates who don’t share our objectives and values can ugly the best design). The fact that every design decision was focused on creativity and collaboration as well as sustainability speaks to a company anyone would want to work for or hire. And your reults are stunning!

I’ve been fortunate to see the finished product and it is fabulous. I am pleased to see that it is getting the recognition it deserves. Well done!!
