Nature’s Interior Designers

Earlier this year I got sucked into the TV series Life presented by The Discovery Channel.  My favorite episode was the one about birds, mainly because it featured the Bowerbird.  He works so hard to create a beautiful space to entice his sweetheart.  He can spend weeks upon weeks cleaning, sprucing and arranging his furniture, just like any good designer!  Then he hides and watches his female counterpart peruse his hard work in the hopes she’ll choose him.  I felt such a connection to these little guys and all their hard work building a beautiful home.  They truly are nature’s very own interior designers!

These little guys were hilarious to watch. They work so hard for so long and then they hide while the female bird checks out the work. You can catch them peaking to see if she likes it. Adorable!
